Oil Leak!!!
MASSIVE OIL LEAK!!! Everything under me car is soaked with royal purple! I posted a thread about this about a few months ago and now the leak is getting worse and I still dont know where it is comming from!!
Heres my check list of the things ive done:
1)THE INFAMOUS INTAKE!!!!
2)The valve covers
3)The Rear Main
4)I havent changed the oil sending unit (Beacuse there wasnt a trace of oil on or near it)
I've done a search on this and most of the symptoms that i everyone else had, i also have. I really dont know what else i could do besides re-doing the intake and replacing the the oil sending unit just to be sure. I know there is someone who knows what is going on!

You need to take a large piece of cardboard lay it under the car when you park "on level ground" and see what end of the motor the oil is coming from..If it is massive then probably a seal in the front timing cover and it is running back all over the whole engine when the car is moving soaking everything. That leaves you with water pump drive seal, distributor drive seal, and front crankshaft seal, oil pan to timing cover as well..I have had 2 and they all leak somewhere up there.

I am just at a loss then..how about adding a dye pack to the oil and then tracing with a UV light since it seems like you have changed every gasket on the engine..Hell maybe the block has cracked and is seeping through itself..Is this motor sprayed on?

its above the soft plug
look at the back of this engine theres 3 plus it might be the oil seal bracket that bolts on to the block

I never herd of that but oil is oil and if your sealed no oil should leak but if there is a leak then no matter what you use it still will leak but, lets try something to clear your mind switch to reg dino oil and then see if you got leak?

I just recently "tried" synthetic oil. I saw an IMMEDIATE oil leak. Everywhere I parked I left oil stains. Within weeks I was well below the "operation range" of the oil dipstick. I recently just switched back to conventional, and so far it looks good but its only been 2 days.
