Finally got a vid up of my new exhaust setup. (True duals with knock-off 10 series)
Well, I've been meaning to get a vid up for a couple months now, and I've had quite a few people ask me to get some up so they can hear the knock-off single chambers I got off eBay for cheap. Finally, yesterday, I was able to get one. I did have a drive-by, and fly-ball also, but something was messing up with Windows Movie Maker, and I could only edit it to get the easy take-off and WOT take-off. Enjoy, and let me know what you think.

As for the tips. They are 3A Racing 62-2507. They're often referred to as the "Autozone tips" in the Appearance and Detailing section on here. But, Autozone no longer caries them. The only place you can find them now is Amazon.com. They're stainless dual 3.5" ovals. I love them, and the price is amazing for being stainless. They're only $34 a piece on Amazon.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I love the sound of it. You should've seen the big ol' grin on my face when I first started it up a couple months ago, when I picked it up from the shop. I was finally satisfied with how it sounded. My only problem is the mufflers hanging so low. But, I think I'm going to take it back to the shop and have them move the mufflers so I can have some more ground clearance.

Thanks. I love the tips. The first time I saw them on a T/A in the Appearance and Detailing section, I knew those were the ones I wanted. They were one of the first things that I bought for the car. I think the only things I bought before them were the berger panel and the emblems. They still look brand new even after going through some snow and rain. I just use some Eagle One Never-Dull on them about once or twice a week and they're as shiny as the day I took them out of the box. Hard to believe that just 8 months after getting it, it looks and sounds almost like a whole different car.

Well, technically they're not Flows. lol. But, either way, I've always loved the sound of Flowmaster. I don't think I've heard a vehicle with a Flowmaster muffler that I haven't liked. I loved the sound of my old 80 series, except for the rasp and cackle when I'd let off at a higher rpm. But, it's hard to avoid that on an LT1 without getting rid of the Y-pipe.

That sounds really good. I dunno if you'll like having the muffler just behind the tips though. The Camaro rear bumper design shows everything, so you'll see two big *** mufflers from the rear. You might want to paint them with black rustoleum or something so that they aren't as noticeable. Also it will change the exhaust note a little too.

Yeah, I'll probably paint them when I do it. But, I think I'm going to take in some pics of 96lt1m6's setup and have them fab it up like that. He's got the same mufflers, but they're at sort of an angle right in front of the gas tank, and tucked up real well. It doesn't look like you'd be able to see them, but he's also got an RS (Or something similar) rear valance.
you can have any exhaust system offered and to me none of them sound as sweet as true-duals with 1 chambers, the next closest for sound is a muffler called wicked-flow but their mufflers are the size of 2-ch. flows and are hard to set up without doing mods to the storage well..
