Default 96 Camaro Z28 Harness in a 94 Firbird Formula

Ok I am trying to figure out whats going on with my car and at this point I am starting to believe it might be the wiring harness.

My motor came out of a 96 Camaro and I put it in a 94 Firebird. (LTx Motor)

I can not get spark, new ICM, Tested coil, New Opti, New ECU nothing.

So I have been thinking about pulling the engine bay harness out of the Camaro and putting it in the Firebird. I will be staying OBDI so I am not sure if this would work... But I am out of idea's and no one else really seems to know what to think either.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible?

The only thing that the '96 Engine will have different is the Cam Sensor on the front. You have something unplugged still..

Well all the EGR and AIR is removed so I have accounted for those plugs, I even plugged most of them back in and nothing. I even redid my Skip Shift since the ECU has that tuned out too and took off the eliminators and plugged them in.

I for the life of me can not find anything.

Now if I put in the 96 Harness from the Camaro will it cause any problems having the Crank Position sensor wires added and the fact that I could obviously plug it in?

^^No because your PCM is still OBD1.

It's something small bro..I know you checked, but trust me, I've done **** like that before and it's something really insignificant to screw the whole thing..lol

Well the only thing I can see if the tan/white stripe wires and black that are supposed to be grounds but I get voltage from... however they are on the ABS circuit and I have no idea what to think.

I am about to have the car towed to the shop my friends family has used for years. He worked on thsi car with the LT1 the prior own had in it. He said he would try to find it quickly and keep it under 60-160. I just am too pissed at it esp being told those wires are it but I keep finding voltage on them.

Well it may be small but yesterday I had it towed to the only shop anyone trusts in the family sircle and they thought the same thing. They got it at 10am its now 8:30am and they still have no idea whats wrong with it.

So I do not feel like a huge failure anymore.

It's all good, we've all done it.
Possibly when you were moving the Wiring around, one in the Harness broke. I've seen that before, it's even happened to me. That's a bitch to find sometimes, but when you do find it, you feel better.

Like I said, it's something small that'll **** you off..lol

well in that case knowing that everything is 94, its got to be something in your harness...its not pullin codes so look at your injector wires, wouldnt be a bad idea to order a new opti harness either...i know you checked your but that doesnt mean a thing...and just over look all your wires....got a ? does it have an aftermarket ignition box? like msd or accell

Those 3 ground wires are going to have something to do with it.
