Default just a little excited today

I have a couple hours of misc things to button my new 396 today and then prep the car for the install tomorrow.

12.4:1 comp ...plan to run a mix of 93/100

Callies Dragon Slayer crank
Callies 4 bolt splayed caps
Eagle H-Beam max stroke rods ( cnc'd for use of a std. base circle cam )
SRP pistons ( fully coated )
LE custom HR cam
LS7 lifters
Speed Inc LT1 ported heads 48cc - Ls6 valves - Patriot Xtreme springs
Speed Inc LT1 ported intake
Crower 1.6 NSA rockers

added LPP headers to my build going into a custom 3" ORY / custom 4 catback w/ Magnaflow ( previous headers where Hooker )

added a Yank SS4000 ( previous converter was a Vig 3600 )

added a little powder coating and polishing ( The Powder Pro )

I hope to have all the small loose ends wrapped up & the car running by Sunday.

The plan is to tune Tuesday and be at the track testing Sat. Nov 1st

oh yeh..add another 50HP to the shot

what do I expect HP wise? 400+ rwhp

what do I expect ET wise ? well I like to set my goals low so.....

NA 11.4 or better @ 116+
N20 10.3 or better @ 130+

old stock short combo went 11.7@114 NA
10.5@126 with a way loose stall and a 150 shot

This is a car with power steering and a 4L60E which I plan to drive everywhere.

I will take some pics and update anyone that interested over the weekend.

I took some misc pics of the cam, rods, block etc, but not sure if I remembered the pistons. I will take some of the motor prior to install and probably post them Sunday.

nice list of parts going together.

post up when you get it running and more importantly, get to drive it.
