Default Parking brake

So I tried a search and came up with a bunch of posts about LS1 parking breaks but nothing for LT1. I know we don't have the drum style e-brake and I think we use the rear calpiers on the rear rotors controlled by a cable, right? My e-brake barely makes contact and won't even hold the car in my driveway with a slight incline. How can I adjust this?

You are correct, in the LT1 cars the ebrake is just a cable using the rear brakes instead of the new inner drum style. Sometimes over time the ebrake cable can strech and to get it back up to par you can look for the adjustment section of the line (not sure where on our cars - or even where the cable connects to the brakes on either side) and insert some washers to shorten the travel to give you more room to tighten up the cable. I'm sure you can google lt1 ebrake adjustment and find some stuff. Kinda' hard to explain here but I had the same issue on my old Z71 truck and this worked like a charm.

There is a little Allen Screw on the back of the Calipers that you adjust that with, and from I hear it's a pain in the ***..I've got to do it to mine aswell.
