I hate this LT1
I put in my new motor its a cam only 355. I got it in today and hooked everything up and the damn thing wont start. It will turn over and crank then it will start to sputter a little bit and then die! The opti is brand new so is the coil. I tested the ICM and its good but I can not figure out for the life of me what is going on with the car I've been working on it all damn day and nothing! If anyone can help me or give me some suggestions that would be awesome!

It was actually tuned for the cam for stock cubes but I talked to the guy and he said its not gonna matter beacuse the only difference in the motor is 5 cubic inches thats it. everything else is the same. so yeah its been tuned.

It could be either (fuel/spark), make sure you have FP & double check the firing order, if this is a fresh engine, are you sure the timing marks are lined up & the dizzy is where it should be, you just need to rule out ONE thing at a time, otherwize your just overwhelming your mind & you'll go

The firing order is correct I checked that atleast three times yesterday to make sure all the wires were correct so thats ruled out and the timing issue should be ruled out I had a reputable (spelling?) machine shop here in knoxville build it and it was assembled from the oil pan to the intake so its in time and all the valves are adusted and what not
