Default Pig rich.

Alright, first a little backstory on the car. 94 Z28 82k on the odo. No major issues other then overheating when hot-lapped and low coolent light constantly on.

The car runs rich. Real rich. Not enough to backfire or stall but the entire damn cabin smells like gas constantly when the car is running.
Engine runs great. Much stronger then i had anticipated. I havent really had a chance to start tearing everything apart and checking it out, figured i would post up here and see if i could get a reference point to start from.

That could be an exhaust leak up by or around the manifolds causing that fuel smell in the car. just a guess since you say it runs strong! Does it kick out lots of black smoke at wot?

No smoke at wot what so ever.
The exhaust leak makes sense to me, it doesnt really sound as loud as stock LT1's have to me in the past. That will be the first thing i check. I know it failed emitions once, then went back and passed with flying colors. So the emisions system shouldnt be an issue..
