Default shifter questions i need answers too

will this shifter work on my 95 camaro z28 automatic ?? are there any after market shifters??


also look at the picture how do i get my shifter cable"B" on to the shifter bracket "A" on the transmission

Part number off that shifter would help.

And how do you put on the linkage? You push and it clicks on At least my 93's did >_>

mine doesnt click on i even used a c clamp to clamp it on it popped right off is there a locking device inside the linkage???

Probably needs a new plastic thing(locking devise your talking about) that holds A to B, very cheap, probably can find in sefl help section at auto parts stores. It probably broke when it was taken off.

that shifter is prob only for a three speed trans. any chance of a part number on it?

the shifter is B&M SHIFTER FROM A 1989 FORMULA FIREBIRD not sure if it will work in my car im looking to get a aftermarket shifter

That should work, ASSUMING that the person had the factory 4spd still in the car. A part number is still a good idea to post.

And yea, the "Help!" (as it's called, by Doorman) section should carry what you're looking for. If not, GM dealer will.
