well if youre gunna go with LE2 heads then i'd go with either the LE3 or LE2.5 Cam IIRC cause those infact are made for the heads, i just think unless you are an experienced builder that going with things that are made for each other is the smartest idea.

otherwise you are just kinda guessing what would go well with it, almost like when you come home late at night and find two foods you like and wonder what would these taste like mized together? well with food its no biggie but with a Car especially your DD i'd go with something proven to make great power together.

In my experience, bigger CI = more liveable large cams. I had a cc306 in a 350 and it was a pretty crappy DD, it made good power up high but it was a dog for daily use. I put a cc306 in a 383 and it was actually pretty DDable. The bottom end grunt that I picked up going with the cubes made it alot easier to drive everyday. Its really all in the tune too.

That being said, go custom grind. Its the best way to get what your looking for, exactly what your looking for. Anymore off the shelf cams arnt even a "reasonable" savings when you think about what they cost compared to what a custom grind goes for.

You need to remember that cubic inches eats up duration.

Yea the more the cubes the more duration you can run. A 230/236 cam on a 383 will act more like say a 218/228 cam on a 350.
