Default comp 918 springs

A speed shop did a bait and switch on my buddy. He wanted the crane kit that had springs and retainers ect but got the comps. They are a better spring but they dont have retainers or locks. I take it the stock retainers wont work? Its just a leap of faith.

That's exactly the list that I just bought. Then, I also ordered some Comp hardened pushrods and guideplates. Everything just came in today from Summit. It was all a little pricey, compared to the Crane kit, but should be worth it. Especially since the Crane kit is currently unavailable, and I want to get my 1.7RR's on soon. I went a little overkill on the springs for just doing 1.7RR's, but I'll be happy when I don't have to buy new springs and all when I cam it next spring or summer.
