I have the tendency to install a carb on everything i swap with, as for you, a LT1 with EFI, look into the painless wiring harness, a used one will be a bit of a PITA. It would not be to hard and you would be able to use a 6 speed harness i assume to retain the T5 trans, but i couldnt tell you how long that trans would last if you drive like me.

ok first of all you will need to start with your harness....buy one or have speartech rework it...they are good..just tell them everything you want done and they can do it...then send it in and pay for and wait for it to arrive back at your house....it will be around 450 through speartech
ok now you will also need motor mounts off of sliverado to put on your lt1.....after you swap motor mounts put the motor in....hook it all up and it should be set to go...
you might have to do some fuel line reworking and im not sure what your fuel pump pushes out but you might need a different fuel pump.
bellhousing will be hard to find to bolt up to that 5 spd...im not sure if its the same pattern...i doubt it....is this thing a 4x4
that should be the hard part right there...i might have missed some things too so i might be back...

The bellhousing will be the same and the clutch and flywheel from your 4.3 should bolt right up to the LT1. It will be fairly plug and play other than the wiring and AC compressor location if using F body accessories. If using F body accessories the AC compressor will interfere with the frame rail and you will have to notch the frame.

i did an lt1 swap in my 89 silverado. i had to notch the pass. side frame rail, even with an a/c bypass pulley (part #34209). unless you can find the corvette acess. brackets. i dropped my tank and swapped an lt1 fuel pump out of the donor car. it has a painless harness. but, could have saved some cash going to other route. i also swapped in a th/350 trans.
