Default 52mm throttlebody

Anybody seen any improved tracktimes?are they worth it?

I do not feel you will really see any gains with your current setup. I would suggest some porting/cleanup on the stocker.

Not really worth it from what you have listed in your sig...If you were going to build I would suggest a 58mm

not much your stock one will support up to say 480hp with your current setup stick with the stock one and put that $200 towards some suspension....

I've been wondering if it was worth it on a bolt on car. I know the bolt on record is held by a stock throttle body LT1, so it must not gain much. I saw dyno #s from a buddies h/c LT1. Same day, same dyno, 5 mintues to change from stock to 58 mm and it picked up 4 rwhp. In my opinion, not alot for $300.

Only reason he should have seen gains was if the stock throttle body was restricting flow. At least theoretically

you really wont see any gains at all unless you're pushing enough air through it and it becomes a restriction. For your mods, it is not restricting airflow at all. At part throttle it may seem like it made a gain because at the same percentage throttle input the larger one will let in more air
