Bryan at PCMFORLESS will get your car running good with just basic bolt ons..if you plan on really tearing into the motor I would def suggest a dyno tune So to answer your question...yes, a mail tune will be ok with basic bolt ons

Mail order tune would work just fine. I even used a mail order for my H/C and had to send it back for update like twice, but after that it was spot on.

You would prob squeeze out some extra ponies with a dyno tune, plus you can actually see how your car is running at higher rpm's. I know of a few guys that had mail tunes and they were running lean up top...one of them being myself. So if for some reason yours was running poor the dyno tune would def benefit your car. If you don't plan on heads/cam for a long while then I say make the 40 minute drive

If you plan to do h/c in future you'll want to get a mail order tune to get you to a dynoshop. I had a mail order tune after I put my heads and cam in I was running rich down low, then LEAN up top. To be safe I'd go ahead and get a dyno tune if you do anymore than just basic bolt ons. I don't know what your plans for the car are in the near future. If you plan to get much deeper than basic bolt ons here soon I'd just wait to get them to tune it for cam, etc

Is your's a A4 or M6? And what mods do you have so far? From what it looks like everything you have listed in your sig is for something you are doing in the future...

A4 or M6? If it's a A4 I would prob say you will be in the 285-300 range and if it's a M6 I would guess somewhere in the low 300's..LT's are funny with dyno numbers..so many things come into play with the dyno. I've seen guys dyno 275 with bolt ons with a A4 and guys with M6 pull 315 plus..guess you will see!

I'd go with a mail order for now. Like they said, then you can get a base retune through them after the heads/cam swap to get it to a dyno for the final tune.
