Default My LE2 Swap and Before/After True Duals *Videos*

As some as you know I did an LE2 Heads/Cam Swap this past summer. I haven't been around the car until now so here are some pictures and videos of my swap and my new True Duals. The Heads are LE2's and the Cam is a Bret Bauer Custom Grind that Lloyd use to offer at the time (224/230 .570's lift and 107lsa). I also had Lloyd fully port the Manifold and I added on a 58MM TB, 30# Injectors, deleted the A/C, AIR, EGR, did the TB Bypass, and some other odds and ends. I did all the work myself in my garage and I had a blast doing it! I have to give a big shout out to Lloyd Elliott for having the best customer service around and not only delivering an amazing product but being just a call away whenever I needed something answered during the install. I also have to thank TT Performance in NJ who did the best quality True Dual setup I have ever seen. So far I've put about a thousand miles on it and the car runs strong as hell with a mail order tune from Bryan Herter. Next summer I am installing the Racetronix Fuel Pump Kit and having Bryan dyno tune the car so we can get it dialed in then I will head to the track for some 11 sec. slips! Anyhow here are some pics and videos.....

PART 2: Before/After True Duals

Before I was running LT's, ORY, Magnaflow. I always loved the way it sounded but considering how much I drive the car I wanted it to be a little more obnoxious on the inside and outside. Plus...I'm not a fan of tailpipes, no more semi-banging Y-Pipe and now the car isn't choked!

Now I’m running LT's with an X-Pipe Dumped w/ Dynomax Bullets. The X-Pipe is the 2.5” Summit brand which is a great kit to start from. TT Performance in Little Falls, NJ fabbed everything up for me and painted it flat black. The entire job is flawless and I haven't seen a cleaner dumped setup in person. Its sounds absolutely incredible and puts my LT's, ORY, Magnaflow to shame. I even like it a lot more than my old LT’s, ORY, GMMG setup. The car sounds absolutely ridiculous in person I only wish the camera could truly capture that. I drove it 2 hours on the highway coming home and loved it as well as my old man who was the victim of many flybys

Definately a killer setup. I also had the piping on mine painted flat black, when I had the mufflers moved for clearance issues. I didn't ask the guy to though, he just did it. I'm glad he did.

I like to see low mileage cars and then attention to detail during the build.

The reason is so the welds do not flake and the paint also helps prevent rust, salt, etc. etc.

That is one of many things on my to do list, I'm actually glad you mentioned that because I keep forgetting to buy one and I should have one by now.
