Default good LT1 turbo topend?

Ive got a full turbo kit with a GT42 and now im looking to get the longblock setup. I have the opportunity to purchase a low comp forged 383 with AFR195's and port matched LT4 intake. Are the afr 195's big enough to support a gt42 and make 700+ rwhp with room to go bigger when i want ?

or should i just buy the shortblock and put a different topend setup on it? any recomendations on what heads and intake work well with a 76mm turbo LT1

Seems to me one vendor has helped someone make more than 1000rwhp with a turbo and ported GM LT1 heads, can't imagine what their version of the Trickflows would do.
I don't know how much boost or what turbo/s but I know the cam was tiny.

The AFR 195s you mentioned are cnc ported! I think they would be enough! Not to mention the guy selling them would cut you a good deal. LOL

cnc ported AFr195's would support 700rwhp with that turbo. Are there better headas out there? Absolutely... AI TFS heads would kill those 195's.
