Default Good experiences with MSD opti???

I have read a lot of bad experiences with everything from the stocker to the MSD. How about some good ones if there are any. I am on the fence and I need the one most resistant to water ( LT1 in a 4x4).

I talked with MSD and they said all the problems have been ironed out in the bearing, seals, rotor, and it should be more resistant to water than a stocker.

I have one on my 94 Z28 it's works fine after MSD sent me the updated parts for it, it is an early unit the newer ones have the fix installed on them.

As far as I can tell, the MSD cap and rotor kit fixes most of the opti problems. I have them on my turbo z28 and they work great. The rotor has brass screws holding it together rather than the stock plastic rivets. They also added a bolt to the cap to prevent it from warping and leaking, letting water in.

Good to hear, I'm in the middle of installing one and it looks a lot better than the stocker and looks like it will battle water better.
