Lightbulb Trick Flow 21 Degree LT1's - Info & Pics

Update #1, post 34: https://ls1tech.com/forums/10707537-post34.html

Guys, thought we would drop by and share a little on the new LT head from TFS. A couple years ago we had discussed some alterations with TFS that would make their casting more versatile for the LT market. We are quite pleased that those changes are now a reality. In as-cast form from TFS the head looks like it will be an excellent value. From TFS with as-cast ports they will clearly have a CNC'd chamber, venturi, and inlet on the intake side.

Offerings based on this casting will likely become available in February - March. TFS will obviously sell them in as-cast form (pictured) and we will have a couple worked over versions.

With the interest online we snapped a few quick photos. Many will only see another cylinder head, but there are a few key differences. Keep in mind this head has some superficial scratches as we've been working towards developing packages based on it.

Questions? Suggestions? What type of packages would you guys like to see based on this casting?

Thanks!

i want a head with a 220+cc runner that flows minimum 320cfm. Also make that exhaust port as big and efficient as possible.
Also a good head with a very good low -mid lift #s for the small cammed guys would be great.

I'm curious as to the projected gains someone would see by running a set of those TFS's CNC'd over your 200cc heads on a stock cube LT1?

Looks very nice for an as cast piece. I honestly can't believe people are still doing new things with the short lived LT1 .

210-220cc's and 300+cfm at .600" would be amazing!

Its not like AI to do some simple gasket matching lol. They will find the capabilities of this head soon enough.

I need a set of heads to help out my 847 cam!! I was set on the dart heads but now i want to get a set of these, especially since there 52cc cahmbers and ill be able to grow off these in the future and being 21* is even better. Hope theres a big of a gain out of the box as they are getting hype. Eaither way i need a set of heads and these top the list!

Good thing with these heads out of the box is they will slightly raise compression (more power) and they flow around 273CFM at .600 lift out of the box compared to a stock LT1's 215cfm. The other trickflows out of the box lower compression, but they do flow in the 250 range at .600.
Still just a 195 runner, Ron or Phil what will the largest runner be for these heads 220 if that?? I have some 195 AFR's that are now a 216 runner so I guessing you guys will probably stick to around a 215 runner like the standard 23 degree trickflows the kicker though will probably be better flow throughout.

If I was in the market for LTX heads these would be my first choice.

I'd volunteer my car for a set of these for comparison with their ported LT4 offerings

I'd like to see more of a true large casting offering. When you look at aftermarket Gen I sbc castings you see larger runners with good cross sectional area optimizing port velocity and great flow numbers. That's the one thing holding back the LT1. Change that.
