Default opti?

would a burned spark plug wire cause an opti to blow out

no i dought it to the stock opti is not set up to turn high rpm`s if you are running it often. i had the same issue`s 3 years ago i got one from http://www.delteq.com/opti_design.htm and not looked back. they have from what i`ve heared stop making the replacement opti but i know MSD now has them

is that just a bolt in kind of thing or is it real hard to put in

no it pretty strieght forward i got real good at it i could swap out the old OEM opti in less than a day but the instructions from delteq made it easy for the opti distrubitor swap. the LT1 OPTI-DIRECT IGNITION SYSTEM i`ve never done but from what i`ve heared as long as you get the complete install pack it shouldn`t be that hard
