Default Crane Gold NSA 1.6RR

I have a set of these sitting in a box, my buddy ran these on his 383, I have had them for years, never got around to insatlling them. From what I recalll they are for a 3/8 rocker stud, correct? I ordered my Darts, told them 3/8s for the rocker studs. I plan to use these since I already have them, no sense in buying new rockers.

I believe they make them in both 3/8 & 7/16 , if they turn out to be 7/16 you could always swap rocker studs there not that hard

I'm off shore right now, so I dont have them handy. I can always test fit them and see what happens. If I have to order new rocker studs, no bid deal, but looking at what I think they are on the summit site, they show them as 3/8

I can't believe these things cost $340, CRN-10759-16 is the part number I'm getting off of Summit. I just have them wrapped up sitting in a shoe box.

Hey Neil, they use the 3/8 stud and I have the SA version on mine. The difference in the part #'s is your's are the NSA - CRN-10759-16 and the SA version is part # - CRN-10758-16. You can see the difference in the two on Summit's web site as one has a slightly wider/different roller tip. Here is a pic of mine:

Martial Arts Dave - I'm hoping to install around Febuary, doing an LS1 brake swap with my time off in January if I get any. I dont have any one to rotate with on this rig, so I can see working all this month and in to next, been out here since the 1st. Already looking like the 26th is the earliest I could possibly go home. I'm hoping to get some times in the cold air after the install.

Aggie Dave,

Thanks for the information, that motor looks good painted in that old school style Pontiac blue. Now it just needs a meaner cam for that 383

I know, I know Neil. I really wanna wake her up with a custom grind from AI or Lloyd, but don't wanna hassle with trying to pass emissions. I am hoping that TX jumps on the OBDI bandwagon as several other states, and drop it from sniffer emissions. Once this happens I am ordering my new cam.

<Sniff> your engine is beautiful man....
Too bad an engine like that isn't visible from the outside. Great work Dave!
Whereabouts in Houston are you? I've been in Houston from March till last Friday but I've been in AZ for this weekend, heading to New York tomorrow. I don't know when I'll be back to Houston for certain. I have a job interview today for a job in Alaska. If I get it, then I'll be up there till February, then work from home in New York. If I don't get the Alaska Job, I'll be back in Houston on Jan 11th.

Neil, If I'm back in Houston, I'll help you with the Dart installs. I didn't get the guide plates I ordered but I wasn't charged for them either so that's okay I guess. I may just order some 7/16" 1.6 SA CC Promags and be done with it. This Turbo cam isn't that big so I probably don't need a guideplate setup anyway.
