Default Whats the trick for getting the door bars out??

Spending way to long on these. I started on the passenger side door, I got the back ones off, but the front i cant really get to. Is it even possible to get these out in one piece? I saw a write up for this and they said the fronts are 15 mm, but they dont feel like that or i dont see a 15 mm bolt anywhere.

yeah, thats what i went off of. Not sure where the 15 mm bolts are? maybe im making this harder than what it needs to be. Wish i had a cutoff wheel lol But i was planning on slidding them out of the wheelwell like the one pics showed.

The bolts that you already have out (rear) are 15mm if I remember correctly. The fronts are 10mm. The problem is they are not only screwed in there, but they also use an adhesive to hold them in place. A ratcheting wrench with a ground down socket would be your best bet.

Yes, it took me a few 5-7 hour days to get all of that done to my doors. It's not fun, is a huge pain in the ***, and makes a huge mess.

No kidding!! This chicago weather sucks!! I'm going through withdrawal, from not driving my baby!! I wouldn't mind trying to lighten my doors too!!
