Quick question about a part on the K&N FIPK
In this link: http://www.kandn.com/instructions/57-3010-1_inst.pdf do I need part C for my 94 formula. There is an auction on eBay that is for the FIPK and the guy selling says that the only parts that he does not have are E (speed density adaptor), C (another adaptor) and a couple clamps that I am sure that I could get at the hardware store. The only part that I think I need is C if any.
Thanks in advance,
Steven

yes a coupler is needed but that K&N part C sucks anyway, it's bulky, and doesn't seal well. I changed mine out for a turbonetics 4" to 3.5" transition coupler, it seals and is half the weight. Looks a lot better too.

I do have that piece sitting around, but like I said, it is junk and doesn't seal. so, no I won't sell it to you... you don't want it.
But yes, the end of the K&N is about 4" and the MAF is 3.5, you need a 3.5" to 4" transition coupler as I noted above, I used a turbonetics but they aren't the only ones out there. A straight 4" will not work. you can get a transition anywhere that has turbo tubing couplers. There's at least a few of our sponsors that have them.

That piece listed has some kind of an insert that makes it go to 4 inch if you leave it out and 3.5 inches if you leave it in. Will it still not work? I am sorry if I am being difficult I am just looking for the cheap way out since I don't have alot of money to work with.
