Default Money Decisions

Got about a $1000 to work with just got in a magnaflow catback, already have MAF and FIPK...got 105,000 and i cant decide on what to spend money on that will make it worth it. IM NOT TRYING TO BUILD A 10 SECOND CAR, MY 13 SECOND CAR WILL ALREADY BEAT ANY PONY OUT THERE ANYWAY LOL, but iv thought about LT's and while the stock manifolds are off do the opti and plugs and wires, or put new gears in the rear end....opinions?

All the above

LT's for sure, Opti is a good idea along with the plugs and wires. Chane the gears out when you get some more cash. You have a A4 or M6?

cat or no cat? i know that if i do LTs i have to buy a Y pipe for my catback, a friend of mine said that heads would make a HUGE differernce but IMO that would be stupid to not just rebuild the whole motor if i do that..also does anyone know the stock gear ratio in my car?

Well does your state require emmisons? If not, then NO CATS...
With you being an auto, you could have 2.73 OR 3.23.. you can look for the RPO code in your glove box.. 2.73 for GU2---3.23 for GU5..???? Maybe wrong on the codes..

look in your glove compartment or on the drivers side door. look for a code that says either GU2 or GU5... GU2 is 2.73s and GU5 is 3.23s... at 70ish you'll run about 2250-2500 with 3.23s. its what i would bet you have but i dunno for sure.

I live in KY so no emission laws but like i said its a daily driver but i dont guess that makes a difference. i thought about 3.73 gears but that might destroy my gas mileage even worse

i'm debating on the same thing... i've been told that with 3.73s you will run about 2600-2900 at 70mph. while i dont know how tall a tire the guy was running. but he said he got 20mpg...

I would suggest a 3.73 gear ratio then..If you wanna do mainly drag then maybe look into 4.10 but the 3.73 are a good overall gear choice for the A4

Maybe a loss of and mile or two off a full tank..really no difference. As far as top end goes...I've hit 130 and still had plenty more to go
