Default Heater not working

First my ac stopped blowing cold and I've just recently noticed that my heater doesn't work either.

What causes this? I thought I needed a recharge, but would that cause the heater to not work too?

Also when I had the heater blowing full I felt no air movement. Is this a compressor problem probably? I hope not.

the heater cores tend to get blocked. putt off the hose from the front of the water pump and the other one (forgot where 100%) and just take a water hose and do it back and forth until the water runs clear. i had done it to my dads 95 9C1 and it was BLACK for about the first 4 times back and forth. didnt take long and now the car cooks you if you have it on to high

Ok, so it's blowing right now, but it only got warm. It never got hot, so it was only pulling in hot engine air.

And the cold side wasn't cold either. It was cool air, but not A/C air.

i said it earlier but ill say it again because im a nice guy lol. there are 2 hoses that are attached to your heater core. look under the cowl on the passenger side and youll see them just above the engine. trace the hosed nack and find out where there attached too and diss connect them. you might want to drain out some coolant so it doesnt shoot all ove rthe opti. get a water hose and either hook it up with a male<->male junction or just pretty it tightly to the hose end and put the water through backa nd forth in one hose and then in the other until the water flows clear.
