Taubr--do me a favor, and weigh those upper a-arms against the stock uppers when you get them out. I am curious to know if there is any significant weight savings on them. I know that the lowers will save about 7-8lbs, but i've heard conflicting reports about the uppers.

The uppers aren't a weight savings item unfortunately... GM has made them so flimsy and light we couldn't do much. If you want to keep it as light as possible go with our non-adjustable chrome moly version.

Hope that helps!

That's what I have heard, I just wanted some clarification, thanks! It will look kinda shtty though, with all of the tubular chromoly stuff, and then rusty/stamped steel uppers, lol.

I'm going to guess since I scrounge the parts for sale section that you bought the K member and the lowers there. I saw them for both for sale in there seperately. I'm not sure about the uppers.

Nice! I picked up a UMI k-member and am really looking forward to installing it. I will be weighing both the stock bare k-member and the UMI k-member. I am kinda wishing I would have gone with a chromoly k-member but at the time I didnt want to spend as much.

lookin pretty
