ok guys soon i will be getting my heads and cam and all supporting mods. im going to go with long tube headers and an ORY. ok so here i will just ask, here in maryland for emissions they do a pressure test on the gas cap and then hook the scanner up to the od2 equiped vehicles. well they also do a visual inspection to make sure u have cats on your car. I was thinking about getting the ORY and then getting an old cat and cutting it open and gutting it out and just when i have to go to emisions slide the case of the cat over the pipe of the y. so it will then look like i have a cat. has anyone else done this to fool the visual inspection. im going to do it anyway i was just maybe seeing if anyone had pictures of this. Hopefully all that makes sense.

I've heard of guys doing this...weather or not it would work or you would pass with a gutted cat...not sure if that would happen. I would say you passing with out having a propure running cat is going to be hard.
