So I have a lt1 with a blown head gasket. Is it going to be an easy fix or is it worth selling? Also, what would I be looking to spend to fix it?

Take it out and tear it down bro, that's how you learn about it. Build you a new Engine.

If all you need to do is change the head gasket and don't have any other kind of damage, the cost will only be for gaskets and some consumable items (if you do all the labor). Additional cost might be to get the head checked for flatness. It is a little time consuming, but not what I would call expensive.

It's definitely not a fun job, but more than doable. Replacing my heads after I blew out a spark plug was my first major job. I used Shoebox's website, www.shbox.com multiple times for the job.
