Question Easy Question.....

Hey guys at this point all i really have done is Long Tubes. Heads cam is in the works. With just having LT's is the LT4 knock sensor needed

Not necessary. Doubt the headers would give you false knock on their own. +1 to getting it for cheap though. You might want it anyway if & whenever you do the H&C.

You ALWAYS want to add the LT4 knock module, ESPECIALLY when you do long tubes. The exhaust primaries amplify valvetrain noise increasing the risk for false knock.

this was my reason for asking, more thumping noise with the LT's anyone else agree disagree!?!?!

I had some false knock i tried the lt4 knock module. It didn't help any. To fix the issues i had to go through my tuning software. I don't feel it was worth it, but it was worth a shot.

If you put some 1.6rr's on then definetly want the km with the louder ticking that stock rr's.
