Default Will an LS1 rear fit on my 97 Formula?

I guess I would use the backing plates already on my car?
Thanks.

This is a very straight foward swap. however, do yourself a favor and be certain to get the emrgency brake cables, cable brackets and the rear brake lines and distribution block which is fastened to the top of the rearend a big bottle of brake fluid(i use synthetic).....be safe use a good jack and good jack stands

You cannot mix the backing plates/brakes and axles. IOW, if you use the LS1 axles, use the LS1 brakes.
