Default Anyone ever have trouble installing a crankshaft sprocket?

Ok I bought a double roller chain for this car and now the cam sprocket doesn't line up with the bolt holes. WTF! What double roller timing chain do you guys use??? We got the crank sprocket on and noticed that the bolt holes are skewed...

Thanks for everybodies input in the earlier thread, I'll have pics of the mild build once we get everything up and going.

Darn, you could not get it off, now you can't get it installed? Use some oil on the crank and make sure it is clean. A length of pipe will work for an install tool.

Yea, we got it on just a few mins. after with alot of hammering. Alot of hammering...hammering. It's just now the camshaft bolt holes don't line up and it seems like its completely off b/c the inner diameter of the other sprocket was smaller than the one I have. Back to the Napa.

Anyone else know of a timing chain that will fit?

Sounds like they gave you the wrong parts.

They may have given you a timing set for a flat tappet cam.

First thing you would notice about the cam gear are the teeth on the backside that run the water pump. Just make sure you get an LT1 set for 95-97s (since your sig says 97).
