Heater hose ?

I am putting vintage air conditioning in my 69 camaro with a 95fbody motor. Which is the outlet for the heater hose on the water pump and which is the return.

I believe the upper is outlet and lower is return.

Upper left port on WP - heater outlet
Lower left port on WP - heater inlet
