Default Aftermarket gears?

How can I tell if my gears are stock or not? I bought the car a couple months ago from the second owner and they have no idea what was done to it, and they bought it off a lot. My problem comes as the car will not shift out right at wot. Bryan at pcmforless says it could be in the tune, or the fact that it has different gears, or the trans could be slipping. I would like to rule the second one out and he is sending me a new tune. Anyway, back to the question at hand, how can I tell if the gears are stock or not?

Also, I checked with a gps and at 70 the speedo is only off by like 1-1.5 mph. Again that is with a gps.

Thanks guys.

I think there is a road test you can do that matches your rpm to your actual speed to determine what gears you have. I'd search for it.

Jack the rear wheels up ,put in neutral, turn the tire exactly 1 turn and count how many times the drive shaft turns. If its 3 then you have 3.08, If its 3-1/4 then you have 3.23, if its 3-1/2 3.42, 3-3/4 3.73 and 4 then 4.10 and so on.

Im not sure what option it was but i have seen it. They get screwed ,if they want to change ratios they have to change posi's because of the carrier break.
