Default Need P/N for EWP wiring kit

Hey i've read that i need a wiring type kit from summit for an EWP. I'm going with the mezeire pump but have read about wiring kits that have a dummy light when the pump goes out or something goes wrong.

And also i was wanting to see if it's possible the wire it up this way, i want it on a constant when i start the car so maybe like an ignition wire, but then i also wanted to be able to turn it on and off in the pits at the track but not have to start the car and would like it on a seperate switch in the car. Is there any way to have it wired both on a manual switch and as a constant when the car is running just incase i forget to flip the switch or someone else drives my car? Anyone know or have wiring diagrams for this?

Thanks in advance!

I don't think there are kits for it and that you have to wire it up yourself. I don't have a ewp yet, but i bookmarked these sites for when I do install one.

Hope you find them useful!

Really if you grab one of the ignition hot only wires underneath the under hood fuse box you'll be ok. Be sure to protect the circuit somehow with a fuse or a circuit breaker (a breaker is in the first link you posted) Theres no real need to put it on a relay if you use a ignition only hot wire.

I went back and repinned my fuse box so that the AIR pump relay and AIR pump fuse are for the water pump. I ran the pump wiring in with the harness for the fans.

Alright so i'm like a two year old when it comes to all this electrical stuff with relays and such so your saying get the first kit correct? then just use the diagram and instructions and hook it up how the kit says? Would that just turn it on when i turn the key to run or acc? i could deal with that instead of a switch i guess but i really want to see if anyone has a diagram or can make one up quick for me on how to wire it in to an ignition wire, then also on a switch that doesn't have to have the key on to run, so like a completely diff power line with a switch and fuse running to the EWP? Possible?

If you want to run a switch for when the car is off, along with the standard ignition hot wire, do this. I highlighted it for ya.

Just spice from the ignition wire (to the pump) to a switch then to a 12v source that is hot all the time. Also, I would go with that Meizer water pump wire kit. It just seems like it would be easier since that kit is made by the same company for their pumps.

Painless Wiring 50106. That is the exact relay kit that I used for my Meziere EWP. Here is a link for you also.
