Default New PB at track

I went to an Import Faceoff event yesterday and drove a new PB.

1.845 60'
5.001 330'
7.601 1/8
95.67 MPH
9.813 1000'
11.678 1/4
121.17 MPH

On 17"s w/ stock 10 bolt, 3.42 gears. Next time I'm going 11.49's def. I figured I would take it out one last time before it got painted. I'm going silver. I post some pics when it's done!!

I don't think you could ask for a better street car/driver setup. Your car runs mid 11s, traps low 120s and has a cam small enough for nice driving manners.

If I was looking for a fun car to beat around town on the weekends, your setup is exactly what I would build. I bet that power for 120mph traps has surprised a few people on the street?

Congrats on the new best.

With that mph you should be in the 7.1x in the 1/8th. Get that 60' down and some seat time...maybe a 10.99 in your future

It is mostly a street car. A couple weekends ago I cruised it about 300 miles got 20mpg average and run it about 5 times. I have shaved some weight out of it but, unsure exactly how much. The scale I use has been broken. I'm guessing it's weighing about 3450-3500 with me in it now. I weigh 200lb.

I find it kinda hard to run across people to run anymore. I usually have to set something up in advance. I did run a LS1 guy I suprised a bit. He said it made about 400rwhp or a little more and I pulled him on the big end. Super cool guy, on this forumn. I hope I can get my 60' down to run some better times.

It was my buddy. He has a 71' Duster w/ 383 Big Block and alumnium heads. If he would have outrun me I would have never heard the end of it!! As for the imports, there was 0 in test and tune that was faster than my car. The only fast cars were in competition. I watched a honda go 9.50's@160mph. OMG!!

Thats awesome...I'm guessing u and I have very similar set ups...You see how well you'll drop your ET when you get your 60' down a bit...I'm going for a 10.99 also...Good luck...Its pretty bad *** to trap over 120 in a street car with a streetable set up...

wow if anything i think that duster is about the weirdest pink/fuscia i've ever seen. . .

not gunna lie, i'd rather have your ride over his just because of that color.

if you are gunna go pink you gotta do it 100% or not at all, like hot pink, not soft, flat, bland pink. . .

I agree, Pink was not a wise choice. Def. not for resale value.
