Default loudmouth exhaust is on

i got my loudmouth I system on and it sounds great. i would reccomend it to anyone. also, while i've got a thread going, i figured i'd mention that i snapped my driveshaft in half the other day. no biggie, already fixed. no one i know has ever heard of that happening on a street car...guess i'm just talented

Where's the sound clip? How did you snap the D.S. in half?

no clips yet but it is amazing. i got on it a bit and the shaft just sheared in half. rear end must have locked for some reason. but a used one for 25 bucks out of a same year 60k mile car and i'm fine.

Was it the stock steel one or a LS1 aluminum DS? If it was aluminum, I have seen it happen several times. If it was the steel one, then my hat's off to you, lol.

Yeah I'm a little worried about my Aluminum one with my new set up. Like ssSlpls1 said, Hats off if it was the stock DS!

yes it was a steel one it sheared right in half towards the rear end. it was started on the weld so it must have been a fault in the shaft from years of driving.

It does sound good...but nothing beats the GMMG

Yeah I just recently put my loudmouth on mine (about 2 months ago), AMAZING sound.
Only issue I have is it keeps coming down and vibrating in the rear...it hangs fairly low, anyone else have this problem?
At first I had the clamps facing down and it was so low it would scrape on road bumps and I have no lowering springs.

that happened with mine, hit it up with a bfh just dont dent the pipe to much and tighten it down with an impact wrench

I think GMMG is one of the best cat backs for sure. But I think nothing beats true duals.

Yeah I'd raised it up maybe twice now and it seems to keep coming down, annoying. I'll try that.

May not work, my exhaust is not stainless so I've got a little rust on my side to help keep the pipes together
