Default 10.47@128mph on 17" nitto drags

Just saw this video when I got out of class. There was a local car vs truck shootout this past week and a local guy named Angel ran his camaro to 10.4's on nitto drags against a fast street truck. His setup is a built 383 with spray, and IIRC his car went 9.8@133mph with a full nitrous pass and bogarts. He feathers the car out of the hole and then lets sprays past the 60ft. The car is not gutted, its got a really nice sound system in it along with all the factory creature comforts.

Fast foward to 3:48min on the vid for said pass.

There are lots of mid 11 sec trucks running around here, all daily driven too. They really put us LT1 guys to shame, luckily I haven't run into any of them LOL!!!

Stout car, it isnt as hard to go fast with an LT1 as many people think it is.

Simply put, the only competition for the F-body guys aren't Mustangs, its all those 11-12sec trucks. There are lots of trucks that will put a whooping on cars down here. Its a lot easier to drop in an LQ9 with a nice cam in a RCSB truck and go deep into the 12's while maintaining all the creature comforts.

Check out the drag racing section, there are way more trucks in the 11's and 12's than are listed.
