Will a carb run OK on a LTx cam?
We stuffed a B-Body cam into this 350 that we were going to TBI for an S10, but my buddy is having second thoughts on actually using TBI due to having to have a chip burned for it. He has an ECM with an upgraded chip, but sadly he has no clue about it since it came in a car.
Anyways, so he's thinking it might just be better, and easier, to just carb the thing. Yet I thought I read somewhere that there's an issue using a fuelie cam with a carb, due to it's duration or overlap, something :\
Anyone have any idea if that's actually the case or not?
Thanks.

Suppose we could, since the 4.3 TBI harness in the truck as it sits will hook right up to the 350.
Ugh I just remembered we still need to get some better valve springs for it :\ heh That B-Body cam just squashes those stock TBI ones (Sorry to you few who were going to hook me up cheap, my friend forgot all about it, and funds are tight)
