So it's bone stock at the time? Bolt-ons: Free mods, CAI, LPP long tubes, exhaust, and if you decide on a heads/cam package I would look into either Lloyd Elliott or AI.

I say keep it bone stock if it's a real WS6 Or build a motor and yank that one and store it heh The only real thing that holds money these days, even during and after a depression, is vehicles heh While 96 is very new still, unmolested numbers matching means a lot.

Anyways, LE2 heads and cam + intake ported to match with 52mm TB, long tube headers, a really nice dyno tune or at the very least a PCM 4 Less mail order.

maybe do gears, suspension, stall, bolt ons, and then HC/poweradders. and tune! Or just do it all at once and get one dyno tune. lol

Before I found out my motor has been gone through at some point, mine I thought was stock. When I got it, the only mod it had was the exhaust, and I don't even know if it's even catback or just a muffler

Oh that's right, this had your local parts store ricer CAI on it when I got it lol It's such a POS it totally slipped my mind :\ Then previous-previous owner had some stuff done, it had a pillar gauge pod for sure, high flow cat and Hypertech chip (both removed to pass Ill. emissions). I've been meaning to try and call him to find out if it was him who had the motor gone through and what was done :\
