By chassis harness do you mean the engine harness? If so, that's only three plugs that's on the passenger side floor panel (to the right of the foot area and runs along the door).

I'm swapping an LT1 into my '94 Camaro and already have the v6 taken out. From what I understand, fuel pump is perfectly fine to keep from the v6. I'm upgrading to 30lb injectors and still using my v6 fuel pump.

No. The connections are under the steering column area.

2: fuel system - do i need to replace all the fuel tank and lines

No. Just the fuel pump.

3: rear axle do i replace the axle and brakes with all my lt-1 parts

Yes.

I speak from experience.

If the rear is undamaged from your wreck, swap it in. Or at the very least use the carrier and gears from the LT1. Some V6s came with rear disc, but if not, you'll want yours heh The instrument cluster you'll want too, for the higher speedo.

BTW, does your old car's hatch have a working electric pull-down motor? I'm not even sure if 4th Gen Birds came with them or not but it seems like that's what I'm looking at in my trunk, the unit I'm looking at is just kinda small compared to my old 91 that had it. I miss it since it cuts down on hatch rattle. I have the bump stops cranked way up atm and it shuts hard now. If it does though, want to sell it?

What year is your V6 Firebird?

Use the V6 body harness with the same year V8 engine harness.
Use a V8 (IP) instrumental panel same year as the V6 body harness.

The V6 front end harness will not be plug and play with the V8 engine harness.

If you swap the V8 front end harness to the V6 car, that is plug and play, and in turn makes the engine harness plug and play.

If you use the V6 instrument cluster, the tach will read high. Switch the the V8 cluster and all is good.

These were a special performance package from Pontiac. They came with a 5 speed, rear discs, dual exhausts, and a 3.42 rear. If it is one of those, I am pretty sure it is a V8 rear so you would be GTG.

You should not need to change anything other than the front end harness and the engine harness.

It goes into the driver side dash behind the brake booster. Once you take the kick panels out you will see its connections. You can take the steering column out in about 5 minutes if you want some extra room to work.

Oh, c'mon, steering column 2. The one the instructor uses if you muck up your driving....
I think he is just either in a hurry or excited. Or both.

You are correct, but with everything he is swapping, it'll morph into the 97 OBDII model. But it will only have to meet OBDI emissions, a sweet deal.

The front end harness has the lighting harness for the head lights turn signals and under hood fuse box?
