kinda interested myself.
the ABS hasn't worked on my car since I bought it 4years ago, and I really wanna clean up the engine bay as well.
any way you could hook a man up with a few details? I'm not affraid to bend and flair tubing, and I've got an SLP line lock laying around that I did some trading for too.

Ok, here goes....There is a writeup on how to do this on:
jakesZ28.com
If you go to the right-hand side of the page you will see a tab for ABS delete. Just click it and it will take you step-by-step.

If you run skinnies you shouldn't need a proportioning valve. You'll want more of the braking to be done with the rears than the tiny little fronts. Just what i've heard anyways.....

That may be true. I don't know, as I don't have that experience. However, Personally I would still have one, even if it set at full rear bias "just in case". Locking up the rear brakes in a panic stop is never a good thing.

Yep sounds right to me! I can think of a few times that my fronts have locked up when im wheel racin. And one time it cost me a race since it kinda started movin to the side on me and i got them then broke out, in the 4th round at the Div 4 Bracket Finals sadly I am about to buy the line lock kit and do it all at once with no proportioning valve. Also the rears shouldnt lock up to easy since after all they are a very soft tire... but if it was my DD with 18x9.5's back on there i would probably go ahead and do the P-valve.

so with the skinnies on the front, u do NOT want a proportioning valve correct? I'm still going to drive this car to cruise nights and such, just want to make the most out of what i have.

Well, I wouldn't say that you don't WANT it, because it is a tool used to fine tune your brake bias. I would say that if you run skinnies you are much better off running much more rear-brake bias than stock. It won't hurt anything at all running a proportioning valve on a car with skinnies, it might not be needed that's all.

let me say that i dont drive my car on the street anymore so thats why im not worried about it. It probably could end up workin out better since you can fine tune it and give you that extra peace of mind...
