Default ignition help

i got this car 2 days ago and i was working fine..then when i was driving if started poping really loud and backfireing a lil bit then it tuernd off and dident want to turen back on so i got a new msd coil and it had a hard time tuerning on but it finaly fired up and it was working fine then after i was driveing it for like 30m it stared poping one more time and tuernd off but after 1 or 2m cranking the car it tuernd back on so whants going on with the car is it the coil, distributor, cap and rotor, ignition control module what can it be.... right now the car will fire up and it drives fine but it take like 1m to finaly tuern on...the car also has a msd 6a box, cam, and some other stuff it is 6 speed 1995 z28 lt1 need help bad thanks

My old 94 Z28 had very similar problems once. It turned out to be the O2 sensors. If you unplug them and the car runs right then its most likely the O2 sensors. I was really broke back then and I actually just unplugged mine and drove it like that for 2 years before I sold it. If I ever hooked the O2's back up it would start sputtering again.

Any codes?
Hard starts can be fuel related, but the popping and backfiring is symptom of a problem with your ignition. It's hard to diagnose over the internet, but I would suspect the distributor, and I would replace the whole thing, not just the cap and rotor.

i havent checked the codes but the car runs smooth no sputtering or eney thing just out of no wher it stared poping and backfireing and then it turens off then theres no spark cuz i can smell the gas when im cranking it and cranking it then finaly it will get spark i guess and turn on

the check check engine light is on ...and on other subject my low track light stays on when the cars off and thers no key it the car why is that

Get the car scanned, it may shed some light on your problem.

what scanner do i use it an obd 1 right or what is it can it get scanned a auto zone or no

IIRC, your car is a OBD1 car with a OBD2 port, so you have to use a OBD1 scanner and do this:
