Default Lt1 Carbed 'Style" intake question.

Does anyone make this type intake manifold for a Lt1?
http://performance.vfnfiberglass.com...&productId=261

Because I was looking at the GMPP carb intake and its shaped for a carb only. And it has a divider in it too.

A lot of us run the sbc carb style intakes and have them converted over to lt1. Some delete the thermostat and some do not.

here is mine

The carb intake that GMPP offers for the LT1/LT4 is a dual plane. It is what most people use for a street application. The divider is because one side only "sees" half of the carb feeding half of the cylinders for better vacuum signal to atomize the fuel and keep it in suspension from 0 to 6000 RPMs.

What Roadtrip120 and others use are single plane intakes which in carb applications are only used for all out race applications from let's say 4000 to 8000 RPMs. But since port EFI doesn't need a good vacuum signal to atomize the fuel they can benefit from the single plane intake's better breathing ability and straighter shot into the cylinder. BTW most OEM EFI intakes including the LT1/LT4 are technically single plane anyway.

So your saying machine the divider out and machine the hole a lil more? And with the SBC conversion is only new holes right?
