Default Lunati Voodoo Roller Rockers

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...N&autoview=sku

Voodoo roller rocker arms from the witch doctors at Lunati!
Lunati Voodoo roller rockers are the toughest around--over 100,000 miles of high-rev engine testing proves it. Crafted from certified aircraft-quality, heat-treated aluminum, they're matched to massive, precision-ground trunnions for superior durability, and optimized rocker arm geometry evenly distributes the load for maximum strength. Voodoo rocker arms also utilize oversized needle roller bearings--the biggest in the business--for better load distribution and longer service life. Finally, they're black anodized and the distinctive Voodoo logo is laser-etched on--you'll want to leave your valve covers off!
Anyone using these? They sound good from the description and price isn't much of comp pro mags.

Look kinda like Crane Golds, Lunati used to be really good, yet I don't know if they still are as I haven't heard either/or. How long has Holley owned them, if a long *** time, then I'd say then since I knew they were good, they probably still are

It's too bad that skull won't be seen (unless you vacuum fab some clear composite covers), cuz they're sweet

Do yourself a favor. If you are getting non-self aligning rr's, get ones for 7/16" studs and pick up a set of ARP 7/16" studs to replace the stock ones, since you have to remove them anyways to install the guideplates.

I'm looking into buying some 1.6 roller rocker soon. These look pretty good. I'd like to hear some input on these.

Well you could go with the tried and true, aka Comp Cams 1.6 ProMagnum NSA RR's. It's only like 30 bucks more, and you will have a proven product. Or you could go with Crane Golds, but that's more money still. But in all fairness, those Lunati rockers would likely have the same quality and performance.

That's bad logic to go by lol

Case in point. Edelbrock LT1/4 intake. Made by Edel, reputable and has stood the test of time, they make some great high end intakes (Vic Jr). Nope, stupid thing is basically a stock intake made into an Air Gap (which a dude managed to do himself to his stock one in 2005 and it actually looked the EXACT same except he cut off the whole bottom and had to make a new valley plate from diamond plate, but I digress)

Yeah. Rockers aren't so much a science as airflow design is. IMO. But yeah that logic doesn't stick everywhere haha

Even pro mags fail. Ask me how I know ! Now I run Comp Stainless Steel High tech pro mags.
I dont know about those but saw a few threads with crane golds that had issues with the bodies bottoming out and rubbing. Those look very similar to be with the big bodies.

In my old setup my Crane Gold Race SA 1.6rrs cleared fine, but my Procomp 1.6s rubbed a bit on my 10308 dual springs. Would have cleared beehives fine though - it all depends on your setup.

Both worked fine...until a collapsed lifter trashed one of the Procomps so I stepped up to the Cranes .

Pretty sure they don't even make normal Pro Mags anymore. I feel the redesigned Ultra Pro Mag is a badass rocker for the money, so are the hi tech SS you're running

True story. Talked to Comp a while back when I wanted mine rebuilt, they stopped carrying/distributing them. I'm sure the company that makes them still sells them, just not to Comp.

I bought my Pro Mags right around when the Ultras came out. I hadn't seen much about the new ones, so I just went with the Ultras. On my next build I will step up to the Ultras
