I have a pair of lt1 hooker longtube headers but dont have the o2 censors on them so im woundering if my "check engine" light is going to come on?? And how hard is it to put them on can we do it at home without having a hard time?

So there is just two exposed holes there? Yes, you will get a code for having no front o2's. Not to mention a code for having no rear o2's (but that's no big deal). It is pretty easy to install the sensors. You just need a floor jack and some jack stands, or ramps if you've got em. You can use a adjustable wrench, but I would try to get a hold of a o2 sensor socket.

Yes it will come on. Why wouldn't you run o2's?

What year is your car?

95's and earlier only run 1 per side. Not 2

I think he means is he going to have a hard time installing the headers.

For beginners, it can be kind of a tough job, but really it isn't that hard. Just takes some time and patience.

Yes, that's what you use. There's no special O2's for headers.

If they are still good, then you can reuse them. Sometimes they are a bitch to take off the stock manifolds, try using some PB blaster. You will likely need the o2 sensor socket to break them loose. You will need a pair of 24" o2 extensions. You can get them from Jegs at a pretty good price.
