New Vid of Roots Blown F-Body
Finally got some decent weather this weekend to make a vid of the car in action. It's a Weiand 142 roots blower on a stock LT1 with the exception of headers and true duals out the back. 7-8 lbs of boost, meth and intercooler was unhooked, that's really hurting the car right now. I hope to get time to at least mess with the meth in the next couple weeks, my time is scarce these days. The car is pretty flat above 5000 because of the timing in it at the moment, need meth.
It aint much but it's hard to be the cameraman, driver, director and all that at that the same time. At one point I had the cam and steering wheel in one hand, shifting gears with the other and trying to watch the road, the view on the cam and the tach all at the same time. lol

Sounds awesome man! I commented for ya
I know what it's like being a Directing Stunt Camera.... or yea haha This isn't my LT1, it's my old 91 5.7 TPI after I got my 3.5" Magnaflow bullet on and just wanted to show a friend online what it's like with my transmission in my car

Preshate it guys. Like I said on youtube, it's the quietest roots blower I've ever heard. Hope to get some dyno and track numbers fairly soon, time permitting.

I'll see if I can't get some pics up sometime or other.
About the short shifts.....I'm running 4.10's. It's only turning to about 5800 rpm, it's bone stock so it aint gonna turn much more than that. Actually it's pretty flat right now above 5000 but lemme get the meth and intercooler hooked back up and give it some more timing and that should liven it up.

He has a website with tons of pics that I actually posted in the one thread about the GM Project LT1 with a 4.3 Roots. I stumbled across his site during a Google search when researching Roots/Whipple for LT1s. Aside from his implementation, I'd love to see someone try my idea.
