Heat up the hub's inner section with a blow torch so it expands, or leave it in the freezer over night, that works too. Or lastly, use a hammer and a small piece of 2x4.

I used the same type of tool and with using a regular length wrench to turn the nut, I had to use almost all of my might to put my buddy's hub on. If I had a longer wrench, it would have been much easier.
When you say it's about an inch off, are you putting the balancer on and lining it up with the belt?

1. Never hit a hub with a solid hammer, you have to have something to obsorb the beating when you put it on. I hused a big as peice of wood in the center and plowed it on with a mallet.
2. Heat that **** up if you end up taking it off for re-install.
3. Dont strain the threads to try and get it on if its not budging, you will blow those threads out.
See if its on all the way first like others have said, good luck.
Tony.

Hell, I'd just pull it off and take some 800-1000 grit on the crank journal and the inside of the hub. Just do it all right instead of dicking around for another 3hrs trying to get it on further how it sits We usually just use a 3/4" impact to zip them on.

Alright so i think you guys may be right and i may be a tard haha. When i originally put it on before i was dumb and hit it with a hammer a few times so i need to file back down a little bit then put the pulley back on and it looks like it should line up pretty close.
Thanks guys!
BTW if anyone wants a tool to install the hub i got 3 extra that i made with the extra threaded rod i got, so PM me and we can work out a deal.
