Default LT1 Motor Question

I have a 94 Formula and blew my motor my buddy has a 93 Formula who got into a rearend accident. I know the 93 motor is a speed density car but is there any other difference that would stop me from putting my buddies block into my car ???

You can swap the shortblocks, the only difference being the location of the oil pressure sensor.
On a 93, it's down by the filter. On a 94+ it's on top right behind the intake manifold.
I know .. I've done it LOL

The real differences are in the emmissions, vacuum lines and fuel system.
Those impact the intake manifold and exhaust manifolds. So you can swap those over
or find a way to adapt them. (it's easier to swap)

Keep the rest of his sensors and parts, specifically the throttle body (or at least the
lower half of it since the IAC is different)

not neccessarily, early 94's (like mine) have the oil pressure sensor above the oil filter

Yes they changed the location mid '94. Either way you can relocate it to use it in either position.

To the OP, If you use your intake and wiring, it should be a direct swap, minus the oil pressure sensor deal.
