Default Need a favor from a few LT1 guys

First off, MODS if this thread is a problem delete it, I don't want to cause any problems.

I'm looking for 2-3 LT1 guys running the stock valve covers. Recently I made a billet oil fill tube for my car and thought it turned out pretty well so I ran some extras and might try to sell them. What I need is 2-3 guys to test fit them for me. They fit perfect on my car but I want to make sure there are no problems when I go to make more. What I need is feedback on how they fit, how you like them and some pictures installed. After that the oil fill tube is yours, if you want it. I'll even pay to ship them to you.

Here is a link to what they look like, installed they are 3.75 above the valve cover. That is shorter than the black OEM plastic one.
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/363512/5#v768

They have o-rings at the valve cover and oil filler cap location.

If anyone is interested let me know.

While I can't STAND those tall filler, those are very very nice. Good job on them!

If you have factory valve covers (the stamped steels) then.... and I"m sorry to say this for anyone involved lol.... you can just goto any small block chev from 85-99 305 and 350s. Same covers the whole time, best place to find them is on trucks. I really feel that GM should've given F/Y body cars some new style valve covers -_- [/hijack]

Thanks for all the offers and comments guys, but all the oil fills were gone about 30 minutes after I posted it! Hopefully I have good feedback and no fitment issues from the guys that are trying them out.

Thanks,

I've spent a lot of time building a lot of that stuff. For the hours involved some items would have been cheaper to just purchase, but that wouldn't be as fun and I wouldn't learn as much.

When I built the subframe connectors all I had for tools was a 40 year old arc welder, oxy torch and a drill press. Cut the tubes, heated them up and bent them slightly, let cool, reheat and bend slightly about 100 more times, test fit on the car and keep bending. The good thing was it kept me busy for a weekend

Right now I'm thinking around $44.00. If I can get more interest the price could come down. I will be able to tell more in the next week or two.
