Give a call to advanced inductions or lloyd elliot, tell them what your are looking for and they will give you what you want. I myself am going with advanced inductions.

I DD my CC503 cam-only '97 SS. Drives just like stock, just with A LOT more power.

I'd look into a heads and cam package from Lloyd Elliot or Advanced Induction. Ai has a 226/234 cam, similar to the CC503, but makes more power. You can get the whole top end kit for just under $2k.

im going to be running that cam very soon. taking .030 off the head and running fel pro gaskets. shuold bump the compression to around 11.2:1. my car too is a daily driven car that sees some street time and no track time (until i know i wont break anything while im 60 miles from home) with a good tune i should be around 340 horse or so. idk what itll be with 156k short block. but well see. lloyd said its a great mid range cam with a nice lope and plenty of torque. which is what i was looking for. and on the street it should be a helluva cam

I am trying to keep my 96zvert very tstreetable its the wifes car. So far have installed 3.42 gears, 2800 vigilante stall. Going with mac mids so don't lose precious ground clearance ,car is dropped inch already and our roads here suck. Going with comp 305 that got cheap. Older grind but still works great. Going with AFR 180 eliminator heads. I have seen awesome results with AI and LE heads on the boards but if going to pay what they are asking for those stock redone heads then figure might as well go up to afr and have the name. I have seen great results personally from AFR on ls1 and TPI local cars. So can't see why the new AFR can't put out good results.

218/224 .544/.544 111 LSA or 223/230 .565/.565 112 LSA along with a set of LE1 or LE2 heads. Either package would give you good streetable power gains.
