This "appears" to be a NHRA stock eliminator car. Very strict rules, but this a fullblown, all out racecar.

Competitive stock Eliminator cars have as much or more money sunk into "unported" heads than we spend porting them.
They are limited to stock lift cams, BUT they throw the lifter off the nose called lofting.
They run aftermarket management and spin beyond the pcm's ability.

and like fatboy said they are racecars.

GIZMO a frequent contributor here runs in that class or at least has run in that class, he will tell you his way of going fast is more expensive than the way the rest of us do it. It is a challenge though and I think that is what those guys thrive on.

I have seen a few of those guys run a while back at Thunder Shoot out. It isn't cheap, but I imagine it's a good bit cheaper then trying to run in a lot of other race series while being just as fun.

Still kicking. Last time out I ran 10.51 @ 125 mph. You can go a lot faster for a lot less money, but it wouldn't be near the challenge of running Stock Eliminator.
