1/4 mile estimate?
Just wondering what you guys think my car will run this spring. I'm guessing 13.6-13.7 I don't wan't to get my hopes up then be bummed out lol. Car is a 96 TA A4 with 3.23's. I realize there is a bench racing section but I figured I would get better answers in the lt1 section. Thanks!

If you get the stall in, it should run mid 13s with decent traction, but i'll bet it'll roast the **** out of those street tires & your ETs will be all over the place, stock stall is a different story, good luck with traction on street tires (especially at 700ft. in cool air), you'll be feathering it, but have fun either way!!

You'll be very lucky to get a 2.0 60 foot time with a good stall and garbage tires. All street tires are simply garbage at a track. No other way to put it. Hit up the classified section and get yourself a set of 15x8 inch weld draglites or weld pro stars. You will be able to find them for about $150-$200. Then get yourself some nice drag radials. You'll run your mid-13's that way. You have a hell of a lot of weight reduction you can still do and still be safe on the steet BTW.

From what you have done, i would say no, not enough to say WOW anyways, once you start pulling around 200+ lbs., thats when it'll be really noticable, i'm still running ALL my ****, sure every little thing adds up, but if I was going to start taking out weight, i would shoot for the whole nine yards, gut that sucker, thats why i just leave mine be. Your best bet is invest in some DRs & get the 60ft. down as much as possible, thats free ETs

Without the drag radials best I could do on street tires with the Vig was 2.0-2.1 @ 13.4-.5
On the stock stall with same street tires I could cut 1.9s, the Vig just provides too much torque. If you think u can roast the tires now just wait till you put the stall in.
